  1. Manufacturing is obviously a strong income base for any country, but in these times i feel R&D and clever use of patent can be just as good. For example,the development of Graphene, the wonder material, after the sweat and tears developing,all the profit will go to Eastern countries who have patented it's uses before it has left the building. Ingenious smart thinking, let others do the work and skim the profits. No machines and no sweat. 3D printing software going the same way? Maybe.

    1. I agree. A good friend of mine told me the same thing about some designs he's working on, he has no intention of buying machines, or renting a factory. I like it!! Then again, I love running around the shop floor, coffee in hand, tending to this/that.... lol
